Hi! I want to tell you that it's awesome and works really well, because that's what I wanted to hear when I first heard of Proactol but the truth is that I found it a terrible waste of money and it made me feel horrible. I really wish I hadn't read the reviews out there that said it was amazing, because they're lying.
I can't help but be suspicious of most of the super-positive reviews I keep reading about Proactol because they seem just too good to be true. I do sometimes wonder if these people are honest reviewers or part of the Proactol company. I'd like to think they are honest but there are so many out there who obviously aren't, with their 'personal reviews' on websites advertising the product.
My experience with Proactol: I started taking it and within two days I felt unwell. The worst thing was that my skin felt tingly and numb, it is not a nice sensation. I also suffered headaches, felt bloated and things were getting to me more than usual.
I tried to get a refund because it hadn't worked and it didn't suit me, as promised on their website, but they refused to give me a refund.
I would NOT suggest trying these. They are overpriced and I didn't find they worked at all. As I couldn't get a refund, I still have them in my draw. Yes they don't work, but after paying so much for them I just can't bring myself to throw them out and this way, everytime I look at them it reminds me not to be so silly and believe that things like this work so well. I chose them because they were natural and suitable for vegetarians, but sadly that doesn't mean they're any good.
I have tried Xenical (given to me by my doctor) and I dropped from a size 24 to a size 14 in about six months. It was brilliant, yes there were mild side effects but they were worth it! But they do stop working eventually as your body gets used to them, which I didn't know, and I piled the weight back on when I stopped taking them.
I have also tried Alli (which are half strength Xenical available from the chemists) and because I used Xenical before and my body is now used to it, it doesn't work as well as it might if I had never tried Xenical. That said, it still works a little and I've taken them recently and lost a few pounds. It also helps me maintain that weight loss, so I dropped a couple of sizes and haven't gone back up again. I'd really recommend Alli and Xenical, but don't buy the Xenical online because it's insanely priced and you never know what you're getting. If you insist on buying them online, I've done it twice and can tell you that the only one that worked was a site called UKMedix. It's SUPER expensive, but they arrived next day and they were the authentic stuff. But try your Doctor first if you really want Xenical, because it costs over £100 for a months supply if you buy them yourself. Alli is a bit pricey (just under £50 for a month), but if you get the small box to begin with and try it out, then you'll know if it's for you. At least with Alli and Xenical, I can tell you that I've never met anyone who they haven't worked for (even just a little).

Oh, FYI, I found that Boots own diet aid worked a LOT better than Proactol, and the Boots own Diet Aid is less than £5 if I remember correctly, and you can take it along side other things so it's a lot nicer, even on your bank balance.
I also tried Reductil (I got them online) and they were horrific. Made me drink constantly, I was always thirsty, but the worst thing was what it does to your heart. It pounds like it wants out of your chest and it makes you dizzy. Also, it stops you sleeping. I stopped taking them after a week. All they do is make you stop eating because you're never hungry and I wouldn't suggest buying them online because you really should be checked out by your Doctor while taking them (blood pressure etc).
Really, Alli/Xenical are the ones I would go back to without any hesitation.
